1. Glacier National Park




The first place to go Hiking is Glacier National Park, located on the border of Canada and Montana and was named because of the remnants of the glaciers from the ice age. Often called, the "Crown of the Continent," it's saturated with a dizzying array of natural beauty. Countless hikers describe it as their favorite place to hike and the park features a variety of trails for all skill levels. The Trail of the Cedars (home to towering and beautiful cedars) being the easiest to the challenging Grinnell Glacier (which offers remarkable views). Many of the park's lodges, chalets and hotels were constructed by the Great Northern Railway in the early 20th century as well and are on the National Register of Historic Places. 2. Zion National Park

Travelers who want to tick off another national park on the same vacation can travel the few miles north to Yellowstone, which adjoins Grand Teton.
